Shark Jumps Into Fisherman's Boat...

...and starts beating hell out of everything. Right off the FL coast near Miami. Great. Can't wait to go home and go fishing.
The shark that jumped into the boat is a bull shark; they are the most aggressive and are responsible for more attacks on humans than any other shark.

  1. Not to mention, bull sharks are also very tolerant of fresh water.

They've been spotted in St. Louis and even attacked swimmers in Illinois, after swimming up the Mississippi river.

  2. Ever time I go back into Big Blue, I remind myself that, though on land I'm a barrel-chested, steely-eyed freedom fighter, in the water I'm right back in the food chain--and not necessarily at the top.

  3. One strange thing is that they don't attack divers at all that much. It's typically surfers that they like. A lot of people think it's because the profile of a surfer with all four limbs in the water on top of the board resembles that of a really big seal.

  4. They may not attack divers that much, but that doesn't mean I'm not experiencing coal-to-diamond sphincter compression when they show up sub-surface.
That super-composite vibram mouthpiece on the regulator? Disappears like cotton candy, baby...
