These guys are all about the look. The guys that do wear ballistic armor are just making a fashion statement; they won't wear the plates (too heavy). Most of the players here are right out of central casting. We're taught and trained not to let stereotypes and generalizations hold sway in our assessments of people...and then find that the individuals we're dealing with are invariably true to type. The bad guys, too; see a thick, unshaven dude in a leather jacket smoking and talking on his cell and, invariably, he ends up being a BG/terrorist/insurgent.
I just cant take them seriously with the beret's like that. And the pants tucked into the boots. And the gold watch. And...
